The secretarial duties of the Council are entrusted to a Secretary-General appointed by decree, who assists the Chair in the performance of his or her duties. In this capacity, the Secretary-General ensures the smooth running of the Council and the management of its staff, in accordance with the mandate conferred upon him or her by the Chair of the Council.
In addition, the Secretary-General:
- Preparation of documents and materials relating to Board meetings;
- Secretary of the Council;
- To maintain and archive the Council’s data, reports, files and records;
- To help coordinate the work of the committees and working groups established within the Council and the National Agency for the Evaluation of the Education, Training and Scientific Research System.
- The Secretary-General also participates in the work of the Council and its Bureau in an advisory capacity.
