On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) held the ninth session of its second term, chaired by Ms. Rahma Bourqia, President of the Council.
The agenda for this session was devoted to the renewal of the Council’s structures at the midpoint of the current term. To this end, the members of the Council’s Bureau were elected, as were the chairs and rapporteurs of the standing committees for the second half of the term. This process, which took place in a democratic and peaceful atmosphere, resulted in the renewal of the composition of the Bureau.
On this basis, the General Assembly adopted the composition of each standing committee as proposed by the Bureau, in accordance with the powers conferred on it by Law No. 105.12 governing the Council and by the provisions of its rules of procedure. The General Assembly also validated the results of the election of the chairpersons of the standing committees, as well as their rapporteurs.
In the context of the renewal of the Council’s bodies elected by the General Assembly, Ms. Rahma Bourqia, President of the Council, emphasized in her opening address that:
